The actors are all miscast and the roles are all misact. They all show, play, or work. They do not act. That’s because bad acting is bad directing.
If only Ana de Armas could do a better acting at the point in the plot where she declares her love to K and dies immediately after- If she could break her facial muscles for just this one second and express emotions- this could save the whole picture from condemnation.
You can see the false when you realize the continuity gap on the production part; In the 30 years that past in the world of BR, almost nothing has changed except for the interior design. And the conceptual art tells us all about it…
The playfield is for the people who base in the stylistics.
They will not see how for 30 years nothing happened.
30 years is not a lifespan. It’s a human generation that went out and filled in the gaps.

The eyes are the windows of the soul. That is, if there is one.
The defining way to recognize a Replicant, made possible in the original BR was a test called “Kampff-Voight machine”. It is a reference to the real thing- PCL-R, or The Psychopathy Checklist or Hare Psychopathy Checklist-Revised.
To answer the long time question of “QUIS EST HOMO?”
My answer is “that which scores above 35-40 points on the PCL R”.
The scene of the Mark6 replicant and our blade runner- in the kitchen near the boiling saucepan filled with maggots. This is a very correct and beautiful quote from the famous western “good bad evil” and hired assassins Lee Van Cleef (who has angel eyes) talking with the client for a bowl of butter soup.

The Dog.
A good test on hypnotism is the ability to get annoyed of being tired to see, again and again, movies showing only black dogs. Of course, training a dalmatian would be pointless, but at least make an effort to make them any other color…
Public Announcement.
The film has several moments that directly refer to the Soviet Union. But the reason is never explained; Along with the asian references. The usage of asian elements in the original BR had in mind to visualize an overcrowded megapolis, using a finite budget.
The ballerina, dancing a-la 2017 GhostInTheShell. Stelline or Stalin which i need to write a whole chapter on.
“ЦЕЛЕНА”. The latter translates to “Integral” as in “holistic”, meaning one with self. To those like me who speak russian fluently, we know that the root for “Kiss(ing)” is “(to make) whole”. Other translation (more poetic) could mean “Purpose” or “Certainty”.

Just like ALIEN, PREDATOR, AVATAR, and other US sci-fi franchises, BLADE RUNNER is a formed product of propaganda showing the US troops as triumphant and more than capable to change the world by will and sheer force. Yet, this movie is a bit different, as it serves a Public Announcement- It does not inflate your sense of belonging to a fraternal group on the planet, it instead reprograms your mind to accept future plans the government has in their hands right now. It may work, it may not. They need your compliance anyhow.

Why does LUV need Ford OR K??? WHY???
The movie contradicts itself::: the only one who knew where the offspring is wwas Batista. He. Is. Dead.
But the writers forget what they wrote and the resistance mind goes blank and blind on that fact…
Symbolism.
In BR2049, Several characters use knives, especially agent Luv- double-wielding.
This is essential to understand.
Most people (especially not native-Eng-speaking) do not even know the meaning behind the title, and it should be noticed when addressing BR2049. It is a very specific piece of jargon. A Blade Runner is a person supplying cold weapons to the black market.
It suggests any legality (the lack of, in our case) standing between two types of dealing with objects.
The character played by Batista, uses a scalpel. Because he’s a medic.
We later realize he is K’s father but the movie tries to tell you it’s Harrison Ford. What happens now is the Oedipus style act of Patricide.
ORIGAMI: black out was the death of paper (example- database) And paper art. Perhaps poetry too.
We see Ford making his sculptures out of wood. Wood, as we can deduct, is rare.
This also means he uses a knife, making him a blade runner.
This also begs the question of the references to famous books: Treasure Island

Here we get to the real occultism: To make the appearance of Leto, Who played JOKER,

There’s a plot hole that can only be “explained” with the help of the anime short.
the revolting replicants had the database destroyed so no one can “remember” who is who. They did not destroy the test, its copies, or the testing facilities.
